World Dance Stars Return to Home Stage
By Yoon Ja-young for The Korea Times

Korean dance fans boast of Stuttgart Ballet principal Kang Sue-jin, the first Asian to become a member of the major world-class ballet company. However, an irony about Korean artists performing on the world stage is that local fans rarely have opportunity to appreciate their performances. They read and hear about their compatriots’ achievements, and that’s it.

``The Korea World Dance Stars Festival 2003’’ on stage at Hoam Art Hall Wednesday through Friday this week is a opportunity to see eight world-class Korea-born dancers together with their partners.

Dear Stuart!

I'm really happy to read an articles about Korean Ballet on your site^^

In my position(as a Korean^^), I'm interested in Kim Yong-geol's performance.
why?
Because I'm a big fan of Kim Yong-geol & Maurice Bejart!
and, He is the pride of Korean ballet fans,of course, including me^^, This is a good opportunity can estimate an improvement of Kim Yong-geol with our own eyes.

It's quite a benefit to separate out the Ballet forums. Now I can see topics that I had missed earlier!

I just now read the Korea Times article and am thrilled about the prospects of the very young dancers featured.
