The Australian Ballet's performance of Stanton Welches "X" was wonderful, it was adynamic and meaningful look at the "X generation" and at the way we live today. It was a new work so those not in Australia may not have seen it, but if you find that it's going to be performed near you I highly recommend that you go and see it.

Kristen, thanks for the comments about 'X'. May I ask a favour? If you get the time could you tell us a little bit more about this work that has made such an impression on you? Is it plotless/narrative; lots of ensemble work/solos; happy/sad? etc.<P>There seems to be little coverage of dance in the Australian Press, and the wonderful grace lives on the West Coast. So private reports from the East are our only way of hearing about performances in your fine country.
