The Royal Ballet has not 'poached' this dancer at all; it was his own decision to join. I fully expected the personnel of ENB to change radically after the removal of legitimate director, Wayne Eagling: expect more of the same later this year.

In the New York Times, Roslyn Sulcas reports that Natalia Osipova sustained a concussion from a collision with another dancer onstage at the Saturday matinee on February 8, 2014. The piece in question, Wayne McGregor's "Tetractys -- The Art of the Fugue" was withdrawn from the Saturday evening performance and patrons were offered full or partial refunds.
