The Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow announced with great sadness the death of its famous ballerina Eleonora Vlasova (1931-2014) who danced in this theatre for 31 years.

I saw this excellent ballerina in several roles and the best, in my view, was her Esmeralda in Burmeister’s production.
