Once again Big News in the Guardian because there are 2 mixed race leads in a BRB production of Swan Lake. This would have been news if it was the Royal Ballet. Carlos Acosta is currently playing the Prince for the Royal Ballet does he have an ethnic Odette?

And as always whenever a black male ballet dancer is described there is always a link made about how good the dancer is when performing Balanchine.

There is a response to the article and he/she does discuss the tokenism and Balanchine.
