Happy landings: The Royal Ballet is once again the home of many of the world's best dancers

But what is it that brings foreign dancers here now? I spoke to the American Sarah Lamb, the Australian Steven McRae and the Argentinian Marianela Nunez. McRae was headed for the company before he knew what country it was in; Nunez watched videos of Darcey Bussell and longed to come to Britain.

Interesting article. Thanks for posting it.

There has been some lamenting in the Darcey Bussell thread that there are not more British ballerinas able to fill Ms. Bussell's vacancy. This has been lamented in America at various companies as well. I look at foreign dancers in my local company as an opportunity to see talent I would not be able to see otherwise.
