Like everyone else in Nice who loves ballet, we were appalled by the loss of Marc at Nice Opera. Does anyone know where he has moved to?

Also, we believe that Opera Nice Ballet's version of Sacre du Printemps is being performed somewhere in the south of France in February. It is mentioned in the Nice brochure but it does not say where or when it is being performed. Does anyone know?

The brochure of the Nice Opera doesn't give any precise date or place for the performing of their last Sacre du Printemps (choreography by Mauricio Wainrot) , one of the great ballets that M.Ribaud brought to this company's repertoire...because they have absolutely NO IDEA when and where they will perform it again !!!! if they did kniow the date and place then they should have been printed at the same time as the annoucement of this WONDERFUL 2006/2007 dance season without M.Ribaud ! it's really a disaster after all this hard work and the wonderful progress that this company had made under his directorship !!!!
Bravo to the City of Nice and to the general direction of the Nice Opera !!!
Just as an info the excellent Ballet du Capitole de Toulouse also perform this version of Sacre du Printemps quite regularly, so maybe you'll get a chance to see it again danced by that company...
