The 10th edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Dance "a sul" is to take place in Portugal from 15th September to 21st October, a co-production by"no Fundo do Fundo", an association of cultural activities; the Municipal Theatre of Faro (Teatro das Figuras) and five Algarvian Council authorities who will host shows - Faro, Loulé, Lagos, Lagoa and Vila Real de Santo António.

The 10th edition of "a sul" has Japan as its guest country and the Kamusuna Ballet Company of Lisbon will be the only Portuguese company invited to appear on the bill. The Lisbon based company has an international cast of dancers from Portugal, Brazil, Japan, Italy, and the UK.

A television interview with Cesar Moniz (AD) and an images documentary of Kamusuna Ballet Company performing extracts of 'Kaminari', plus information about the work and the company, will be broadcast on RPT Portuguese Television on Friday 8th September 2006.
