Just copying a piece of information from the Kirov thread, as I note there is no thread for Dresden here. Several Kirov-Mariinsky dancers will be joining the Dresden Ballet for the 2006-07 fall season. As a recap, Aaron Watkin, formerly of William Forsythe's company, and who has set Forsythe works on the Kirov, is the brand new AD at Dresden.

The company is said to be in the course of adding Theme and Variations to the Balanchine section of their repertoire.

New members include Elena Vostrotina, Dmitrii Semionov, Natalia Sologub and Pavel Moskvito. Semionov will thus be closer to his sister, Polina Semionova, also in Germany.
