Alina Cojocaru and Johan Kobborg of the Royal Ballet of London
Benvindo Fonseca of Lisbon Ballet Contemporâneo.

Maratona da danca - contemporary dance Sunday 30th April
(see link on this forum of same name for details)

One correction - Takahashi and Morales are with the English National Ballet, not the Royal Ballet.

Hi Lisboa - sounds like a great programme to celebrate International dance Day on 29th April.

I see they have the wrong information on the website you gave us - you would be doing the dancers and the event a favour by asking them to change it.

Takahashi and Morales are fine dancers, by the way.

Yes, I could definately see how someone who isn't familiar with the companies could confuse the ENB and the Royal Ballet in translating. In most countries where there is a "Royal Ballet" it is also the national ballet company.

I remember seeing Cesar Morales back in 2003 when he won the Gold Medal at the NYIBC. He was full of talent, but very much unfinished. So it's wonderful that he's been able to dance with a company like ENB where (one hopes) he gets to dance the classics, contemporary pieces and good coaching.
