Johan Kobborg has joined the Royal Ballet from The Royal Danish Ballet and in the UK we are all delighted. His outings as a Principal to date have impressed everyone. Apparently one of the key reasons for the change of Company is that we have a number of short women dancers, who are more suitable for Kobborg's 5'9", compared with the Danish Amazons.

Short women dancers you say? Hey Lucy, are you listening? You still have it in you... to lengthen your illustrious career.

Another interview with Kobborg, but this one also includes the amazing ex-Houston Ballet Carlos Acosta and the ultimate heart-throb, Roberto Bolle, who is guesting with the Royal and causing ladies all over the UK to swoon. I'm not exagerrating here. Well, not much.
http://www.thisislondon.com/dynamic/hottx/top_review.html?in_review
_id=241041&in_review_text_id=189536
[This message has been edited by grace (edited September 03, 2000).]

I hope the ladies in UK brace themselves for the eventuality when Bolle's guesting contract is over...
