Really nice, Kevin! And, yes, wonderful pictures; she's beautiful.
And can I ask what dishes were ordered for supper during the interview? Image

Azlan and Grace, thanks. I took the photo of Lunkina in Don Q costume after her performance, while the other photo was a press photo. As for supper, it was a Western restaurant, so we ordered our dishes individually. Lunkina had baby turbot, I remember, while I ordered chicken. Can't remember what the interpreter Lyuba ordered.

What an assignment Kevin! It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. I'm not really green with envy, it just sounds that way.

Stuart, actually the assignment was most pleaurable for me and not tough at all. I enjoyed doing interviews, especially with dancers/choreographers that I admire, such as Lunkina, Robert Parker etc. What is harder for me is, when I come to writing a review later, to be objective in analysing the merit of the performance of my interviewee.
[This message has been edited by Kevin Ng (edited April 07, 2000).]

Kevin,
I know what you mean about being objective. It's almost easier to write about the performance *before* you get to know the personalities.
