John Percival comments that, '..."Rubies", absolutely dazzling when the amazing Manuel Legris dances it, so quick, strong, light and secure in his solos that you hardly notice their difficulty, and a very superior partner, too – so much so, that the sweetly charming Delphine Moussin looked a different woman when she danced with him.'<P>I was priviliged to see Legris in 'La Bayadere' and can well believe Percival's description of his performance.
