An obituary into-day's Guardian for June Brae, who my Mother and Aunt remember as an important dancer in the Vic-Wells ballet company in the 30's, which gave birth to today's Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet. I find with such obits that even if you have never heard of the dancer they contain interesting and useful insights into the history of the art form.
June Brae bu Mary Clarke http://www.newsunlimited.co.uk/obituaries/story/0,3604,121833,00.html
