I'm afraid so. Here is the start of the RB Press Release:

quote:
Due to injury Sylvie Guillem will be unable to dance her scheduled performances of The Concert and Giselle. I have two tickets for the evening performance on 14 April. My daughter is a Silvie fan and as she is not now to dance, is there anyone looking for ('discounted' £35 each)tickets for that performance? I know it is H row (can't remember the seat numbers) if anyone is interested give me a call at home this evening on 01925 815951

Caroline have you considered the option of trying to change the tickets for another performance? I have to say that Rojo and Cojocaru are likely to be outstanding in the role.
Here's the Giselle ticket availability page on the ROH site:
http://www.rohtickets.org/acatalog/
Back_to_Main_Menu_Giselle_7.html
The performance for which you have tickets is already sold out, so you might be able to get them resold by the ROH box Office for a fee of £2. I think ou can do this within 72 hours of a performance, but you should check.
In any event I think you have omitted to say where the seats are located. I suspect you have already done so, but a message on ballet.co.uk is a good idea.

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited March 16, 2001).]

Thanks for the info - I will contact the ROH and ask if they can resell them. They are in H row (I forget exactly where, tickets at home).
Is there any news on what sort of injury Silvie has?
