London has fallen seriously in love with SFB. Full houses, rapturous applause and universal praise have been the just rewards for this wonderful company.
Some of us don't want them to go home. They could stay and be renamed the Sidcup and Farnborough Ballet company (two areas of London) and then they wouldn't have to change their initials.
Debra Craine revels in the sheer joy and exuberance of Mark Morris and Jerome Robbins in sinister mood:
http://www.the-times.co.uk/news/pages/tim/99/10/28/timartdan02001.html?1376249
Ismene Brown falls in love with the USA and SFB and Mark Morris in particular. I am so thrilled to hear this news. I didn't know how London would receive SFB and I am so glad that my "hometown" team wowed the audience.
But you can't keep them. They're ours. Image

I am so pleased that SFB has made us proud. Stuart,I am also happy that you liked them so well. I read the review in the SF Chronical and noted that they mentioned Parrish Maynard and Muriel Maffre, as they are favorites of mine. Let it be said that for me this company has come along way. The future looks very bright indeed.
