I have seen Wayne Sleep perform many, many times and although I think he is a very 'strange' man, he dances to perfection.
The last time I saw him perform was about 18 months ago when he appeared in a show called The History of Classical Ballet. He and the other members of the cast were superb but he seems to have died a death.
Where is he? What is he doing now? The last I heard he was involved in promoting up and coming ballet dancers from around the world.
Does anyone know his whereabouts?
Lisa

He has had at least two articles within the past two years on ballet.co.uk. One, a mid-1998 interview with Bruce Marriott as a preview to a series of London performances with his ten-dancer company, Wayne Sleep & Dancers. Earlier this year, he was placed in their "Ballet Legends" section. Mr. Sleep is 52 and still dancing.
