From Judith Mackrell's review this sounds like a clash of the egos - Deane and Kumakawa. I was not pleased to hear that Viviana Durante did not get much attention from Kumakawa.
Mackrell is a good judge and it seems that Kumakawa, for all his talent, may be going down a Joachim Cortez/Michael Flatley route.
