Stuart, it was my pleasure to share the experience with dance enthusiasts. I believe people who didn't quite make it to watch these performances would like to hear how they went. (It was sold-out that evening.) But do forgive my writing, as I only started to practice dance writing, and my use of the english vocabulary is quite limited. (still working on it. :? )
I think part of me, just want to share it with somebody that is interested, and where else for me to output my joy apart from here?

That's great to hear, pixie and, relax, your English is plenty good enough for CriticalDance. And, of course, writing here is excellent practice for you.

I had the chance to see Darcey Bussell dance on opening night and she was great - perhaps even perfect? . If I had to describe the RB in terms of other companies, I would say that they are just so polished. The corps was also outstanding. Probably one of the most beautiful pices that i have ever seen.

yes, i saw bussell and bolle on opening night, excellent dancing and acting from the two principals. Apart from the mishandling in the lift in Act 2, (resulting Darcey to fall from a high lift, and both Darcey and Roberto geniusly improvised into something else and continued the repertoire once the music catches up) it was a magical partnership.
Unfortunately in the pas de six in Act 1 that opening evening were not as exciting to watch as the matinee cast, led by Ricardo Cervera and Laura Morera (which also danced in the last night)
In Act 2 on that opening evening, Lauren Cuthbertson, replaced a poorly Zenaida Yanowsky, as Myrthe, and rosed to the occassion and danced a promising performance. Her technique was strong enough for her to pull her through, but I believe a little more hands-on for the role will make her into an excellent Myrthe alongside Yanowsky and Nunez.
