Kevin Richmond as Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol'
Good to see Kevin Richmond (ex-ENB and original cast member in 'Swansong') back in action. He always has been a fine actor and this work seems an ideal use of his talents.
Judith Mackrell finds the primarily ballet version of 'A Christmas Carol' good in parts, but concludes on the positive note:
'Yet the ballet's basic structure is sound, its energy is high and it has been deftly tailored around the awkward stage of the Festival Hall. The article is about the RFH production and choreographer Christopher Hampson talks about his what he set out to do. However, the details at the top, the rating and the link are for a different 'Christmas Carol'. I'll send an e-mail to the various parties, as the very pleasant Mr Hampson deserves better.

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/dynamic/hottx/theatre/top_review .
html?in_review_id=339971&in_review_text_id=290234

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited December 23, 2000).]
