Sergei Berezhnoi, one of the Mariinsky Ballet's best danseur nobles has passed away. He was 63.
May he rest in peace.

Cygne, thanks for posting as I was just about to. Indeed it is a great loss for not just his family, his wife Tatiana Terekhova, but for the many dancers whose lives he touched in the studio, in rehearsals and in the daily classes he taught at the theatre. A sad and great loss for everyone at the Mariinsky and in the world of ballet.
