In a preview performance for journalists of the 2009-2010 Mikhailovsky Season this week, I noted that Zhanna Ayupova is now listed as a repetiteur at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

An excerpt from Alexander Gorsky's version of "Swan Lake", which will be performed in full this fall, was presented. Mikhail Messerer, who is now also working with that company, introduced it by microphone. Messerer typically teaches company classes at several points during the year for the Mariinsky.

Thanks, Catherine, for this news.

I hope that this works very well for her and the Mikhailovsky.

I wish that I had seen her on stage. Maybe it's still possible somehow. At least I have my video clips and they are a treasure!
