Post subject:  garnier versus kirov

Thank you to tell me why the kirov and Opera garnier were in conflict so much so that garnier refuses to invite the kirov who only comes to Chatelet Theater

Where did you hear such a statement ? I really don't think there's any conflict between the Paris Opera Ballet and the Kirov. The Kirov must have an agreement with the Théâtre du Châtelet, since they already gave performances there a few years ago. There's nothing wrong with it, it's a nice theatre as well.
What's more, the POB has regularly invited guest dancers from the Kirov over the last few years, most recently Diana Vishneva in Swan Lake. The POB and the Kirov also did a gala together in November at the Palais Garnier, which featured stars from both companies.

sorry for my bad english, i'm french !
My dance teatcher said it to me, but I think it's not actually but an old conflict.
She asks me now Why Marinsky doesn't dance in garnier opera but I don't remember her explanation and I try to find the reason to answer her.
