- Any sign that the Powers That Be might be recording any/all of the Kirov's London 2003 tour? Personally, I would have thought it a no-brainer. Couple of cameras, a sound recordist, an editor, predictable recording conditions, location and staff well rehearsed in this sort of thing. Bit of copyright conditionality to work through (but hey - someone has to keep lawyers in work). Then you sell it to your local hi-brow TV channel and also issue it on DVD/video and sit back and watch the money roll in for the next 5 years.

I'm sure our resident lawyer, Emma Pegler will be very grateful for those sentiments, Nino. However, as far as I know there are no plans to record any of the performances. I'll ask our official contact for the tour.

Excuse me. People misbehaving and acting in their own interests regardless of others, is what keeps us in business. We need copyright because of the innocent people who have had their ideas pinched by unscrupulous people.
