Post subject:  Which ballet shoes are better?

Hey! I was just stopping by to see if someone can help me :) . I had done ballet for a while and now it´s the magical moment to use my frist point shoes. My dance teacher said that I could buy the ones that I want but I´m not sure which ones are the best. Maybe you can help me telling me your experiences with differents brands and also giving some advices to use my frist point shoes
Thank you :D

Comfort and fit are paramount, as is getting someone who is experienced to help you find the best first pair that just right. They will take into account a lot of factors, such as age, technical training and ability, and "readiness." What brand and style within that brand will depend on these things plus how your foot in shaped, your toes, and do you "twist" in shoe or not.

You should take PLENTY of time to try on each kind. You'll probably go back and forth between a few.

Have your teacher check the shoes before you sew in ribbons and elastics.

Know too that you will be on pointe just a little at a time and this builds over training and experience.

Have fun!!
