Post subject:  Dance Photographer - Web Site

Hello:

I'm a photographer that is doing more and more dance related work and wanted my site to reflect that. If anyone could lend me advise or comments on my site - i'd be appreciate.

Also, I'm very interested in getting feedback on my "Portfolio Experience." Your thoughts as to whether it is a good concept and if my materials are compelling.

Thank you

Mark

Hello Mark!

I think your website is very beautiful, but a bit long to download.

Your pictures are really good, but maybe you should work with professionnal dancers for a better result?

Nice work Mark, I agree with @urelie that professional ballet dancers would produce a better result, but love your work. Ballet is so hard to photograph and dancers are pickey about the end result. Feet are a big deal and if they are not pointed or correct it sort of wrecks the photo.

Have you asked a professional company if you might shoot a rehearsal or class?

Very nice site but I would recommend that you offer a non-flash version as well as the media-rich flash version. Just a thought.
