You learn more than moves at dance lessons
By Kwame Kwei-Armah for The Guardian
Last Saturday the twins, Oni and Kofi, performed in their last-ever end-of-term dancing show. They have been attending the Saturday classes - at the insistence of my recently departed mother - since they were four. Their graduation marked the end of an era. The teacher and owner of the school, Mrs King, had taught me and my baby sister, Ann Marie, from the age of seven to 16. My middle brother, Terry, although securing release after only two shows, also got in on the act.
