It was such a long thread, so I thought I would continue it as a new one.<P>I understand that maybe the dancing has not been what we "true dance artists" would enjoy, but it is still a job for dancers and still bringing dance into the limelight.<P>These days, ice a skating gets more tv time.<P>I mean how boring was Bob Dylan (and bad). Even if you did or did not like his song, at least it would have been bearable if someone had danced to it. Then I would not have to watch Bob (sorry to Dylan fans).<P>The Crouching Tiger dance, was more of a demostration of martial arts moves, so many people I spoke to who were not dancers , thought it was not a dance.<P>Somtimes you just have to start somewhere.<P>Janet<BR>

Speaking of TV air time - I really miss the wonderful Live From Lincoln Center programs. There was so much wonderful dance. I wonder if it stopped because of video taping? <P>I know I taped every one of them.

Yes, I loved the Live shows, too. I search for anything on dance on TV, therefore I don't watch much TV.<P>Janet
