Welcome to Criticaldance chenix and thanks for your thoughts on this theme.

Your comments on being unable to see "Anaphaza" are appropriate as they concern a dance performance. However, as a note to all our readers, I'll just flag up that while dance and politics cannot be entirely separated, CriticalDance is not a political website. As a consequence, it would not be appropriate to lead on from this post to a discussion of the tragic circumstances of the current situation in Israel and the Occupied Territories.

For a donation of 5000 pounds, you can go on tour to the Far East with the Royal Ballet this summer. This does not include travel and expenses. Money does buy access, by the same token, it also gives the ballet company access to the donors. Perhaps not a bad tradeoff.
