ballet, jazz, and/or lyrical and is especially talented at
choreography. The instructor would need to be available starting mid
August '08, and would be responsible for choreographing routines for
competition and teaching technique classes. I was wondering if you
could recommend someone responsible, talented, friendly, and who would
work well with children ages 10 and up. Salary and hours are
negotiable. I would like interested candidates to teach trial classes
before the school year ends in June. Please feel free to forward my

what's up with Houston dancers!

a Message from Lucia y Valdemar - Gitanerias Flamenco:
"At this time in our lives, we will soon begin a new adventure in a new city.
Valdemar has accepted a new position at the University of Texas at Arlington and he
will begin teaching there on August 21st. I will stay here in Houston for a few more
months until we are able to make arrangements to settle up in the Arlington area. So
I plan to continue teaching dance for a couple more sessions in Houston or until we
can relocate completely. Actually Arlington is only 230 miles away so we could very
likely come to perform in this area as "out of town guests" in the future." -Lucia
