It'a very common for work places here to have a ******* with a kettle, coffee maker and microwave. I guess that the ROH is no exception. <P>However, there is a really good cafe for staff, performers and interviewers from criticaldance, with cheap, imaginative, tasty food.

What I want to know is why we all assume it was a ballerina (female)? Couldn't it have been a ...guy?<P>ME

I knew a dancer who ate potatoes raw, so it couldn't have been him.

I think the idea of a poor starving ballerina waiting for her baked potato is far funnier than if it was a male dancer or some other food besides a potato... Am I sexist?<P>Also, it is clear that many newspaper writers, including the ones at our beloved SF Chronicle, have no inkling of what makes up a dancer's diet!
