He’s King Sherbet, one of the more outrageous characters in British choreographer Matthew Bourne’s “Nutcracker!,” released recently on DVD by Kultur. Bourne’s stage adaptation of “Edward Scissorhands” is currently a London hit, and if you liked Bourne’s 1995 homoerotic re-telling of “Swan Lake” (set for a Boston premiere in April at the Colonial Theatre), you’re going to love his “Nutcracker!”
