I will be going to Seattle to see PNB perform the Nutcracker on 12/12-12/14. I want to see as many performances as possible while I am there. You know it can be the same ballet but it is different with each and every cast. All the PNB dancers are amazing and I love to see them all perform. :)

I'm going to see the Bolshoi's "La Bayadere" tomorrow night. Not exactly a holiday ballet, but it is the holiday season. I'd consider going to Inland Pacific Ballet's "Nutcracker" but I don't think I'd dare drag my wife to another one of those!

Here's what I hope to see: Diablo Ballet's La Boutique Fantasque (The Magic Toy Store), Smuin Ballet's The Christmas Ballet, Dance-Along Nutcracker, Peninsula Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker and San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker. But if I don't do any better than I did last year, I'll only see SFB's Nutcracker, which is easy to get to by public transit - and I can get really cheap standing room tickets. Maybe I should make an effort to see ODC's The Velveteen Rabbit finally, since I liked the story so much.

I'll be seeing Saint Louis Ballet's Nutcracker, in two different cities.

In London, I am looking forward to Matthew Bourne's modern/stage dance "Nutcracker!". I saw his previous production about 8 years ago ad enoyed it a lot. The Royal's current production by Sir Peter Wright is very good, so I might drop in there.

Can't think of any seasonal non-Nuts in London at the moment.
