"We will net about $13,000 to $14,000 from Saturday night," said San Pedro City Ballet artistic director Cynthia Bradley. But, that's only part of the $115,000 needed to support their annual "Nutcracker" ballet set for Dec. 20, 21 and 22 at El Camino.

"People have a misconception that we have a lot of money, but we only get about $65,000 from ticket sales," Bradley said. The rest comes from supporters in the community.
