Parade on its toes
By Jason Lesley, from The Georgetown Times

People crowded both sides of Front Street Sunday afternoon to watch the Georgetown Christmas Parade march — and dance — through town.
Young performers from the Georgetown Studio of Dance led the 90-unit parade and stopped several times to perform for the crowd and the judges.
Dance teacher Steele Bremner’s ballet students put on a wonderful demonstration at Front and Broad streets from their upcoming performance with the Charleston Ballet Company. That show will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Georgetown High School’s auditorium and will include local students ages 4 and up.
click for more
