Here's a holiday stumper. I showed a 16 mm film of Nutcracker at the library last night. Due to some problems with the very old film, there wasn't time to show the second reel, and so all I know about it is this: It features New York City Ballet dancers Edward Villela, Patricia McBride (Grand Pas), Melissa Hayden (Snow Pas) and includes The Bluebird Variation (!) in the Land of the Sweets segment. Can anyone tell me who dances the Bluebird role? Is it Gloria Govrin?

From a reliable source I heard it isn't Gloria Govrin, but don't know who it actually is.

I haven't seen that, but if you're guessing that it's Gloria Govrin based on size, Patricia Neary was another amazonian dancer of those days, I believe.
