ather than presenting just the traditional "Nutcracker," the year-old Performing Arts Repertory Company of Beltsville decided to make its first seasonal performance a combination of the ballet and Israeli, Chinese and Indian dancing.
Although the groups will give separate performances, PARC Artistic Director Alison Miller hopes that by next year they will create at least one piece that mixes the different forms. Miller, the director of the Ballet Academy since 1981, began collaborating with the other troupes several years ago.
