As witnessed at the Saturday matinee, the show seems to have shaken off last year's jitters (along with some major sightline problems). The sets and the dancers looked as if they'd been occupying the Paramount stage for years.

pictureTeeth were gnashed and hair was pulled in the corridors and rehearsal studios of Colorado Ballet last year, when the company learned the Rockettes were coming.

Officials at Colorado Ballet believed its production of Nutcracker was in danger of losing significant audience numbers to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which would open at the Buell Theatre the same weekend as the local Nutcracker in the Paramount.
