Tonight there is a programme about two Russian twins trying to form a ballet company , The Pavlov Ballet (no, I haven't left out the last 'a') in the West of England. Bruce Marriott on ballet.co claims that one of them, Ella, learned ballet by correspondence course and is going to be performing Giselle. Alicia Markova move over or what?
Here's the link to a fragment about the programme on the BBC website, which is worth a visit as it enables you to listen to BBC programmes anywhere in the world and is one of the most visited sites on the entire web.
BBC link

The Pavlov Ballet, by the way, are now the Swansea ballet Russes, and the founder artistic directors have both left (been pushed?). I don't know *what* they thought they were doing to Adolphe Adam's music!
