POLITICAL TANGO<P>Democrats, Republicans who’s to care?<BR>We’ll count and count until it’s fair<BR>On Election Day we had some rain<BR>So can I go and vote again?<P>Locked in a tango of mutual desire<BR>Each consumed by the other’s fire<BR>Each man unable to go and do<BR>So let’s stop counting and go and sue<P>Heck with the Constitution it’s only a tool<BR>Hire both men so both can rule<BR>One in the east and one in the west<BR>And us poor morons can have the rest<P>The White House is big enough to split in two<BR>One half for Al and the other for “W”<BR>And then we shall see who keeps his room neat<BR>Washes his hands and wipes his feet<P>Kisses his mom and picks up his toys<BR>Says his prayers like all good boys<BR>Dear Lord its president I want to be <BR>But, first – what comes after three?<P>One says yes the other says no<BR>Politics as usual here we go<BR>Or give the colonies back so we can sing<BR>Not Hail to the Chief, but God Save the Queen.<P>ok, ok - so it's not Alfred Lord Tennyson - sue me ..............<BR><p>[This message has been edited by Basheva (edited November 13, 2000).]
