I have rescently tried out those pesky dance machines where you have to tap your feet and wave your hands like a monkey gone off it's rocker :( It was my own fault I didn't think that there was going to be a system of rules on how to play the machine. Has anyone else had much luck with the machine from Haydee's :o

I saw one of those in Quebec City during the summer. A boy who looked to be about 14 and who had obviously never done any exercise other than moving from his bed to the tv where the Nintendo/SEGA Genesis/Playstation, etc., is set up was on it. He was racking up the levels. It seems you can be as mechanical as you like because there's no time for any of your fancy dance training moves anyway. I didn't try it, I didn't feel like getting my butt kicked by someone who can't legally drive yet.

I find it difficult to even walk by these places, the noise level from 20 feet outside is beyond my understanding.

ok....so I'm leaving... :)

Ha, that was an image from a site with a script so that you can't link to the actual images because it replaces them with a rotation of different ones. I've really gotta get a copy of that! :)

Judski, care to write a review? Meanwhile, you might be interested in this thread as well:

Dance Simulation Game

Just wanted to report that I actually tryed out this game yesterday! We were at Dave and Buster's in Philladelphia for my birthday and low-and-behold, they had one of these crazy games. My Aunt and I tried it- and I'm sure we looked like such maniacs. It was quite fun, but as soon as I stepped off, my quads were rather sore. You really have to stomp hard on the squares to get it to count. The music is all sort of odd, and extremely loud- but overall it was very fun! :)

Me either, because I don't consider "The Sims" a video game. They are just my little computer friends whose lives I completely control... *evil laugh*

Hey, wouldn't it be fun to have a Sims ballet company?

Yes it would Maggie, because you can make those little Sims work til they fall asleep on the floor. (No unions for The Sims). Unfortunately they're very social so getting them to 'stop visiting with their neighbour' during class may be a problem.

This dance machine is in my student union. Though last time I played it I looked like a complete gimp. It must be posessed because everytime I visit I'm sure it's calling me. I watch men who have about much common sense and interlect of a chicken play on this machine and I coil in my own embarrassment. I really need help I can hear the machine now someone help me from my peril.
