If the tail on a puppet is insured for £1 million, how much are a dancer's legs worth?

Basil Brush's tail insured for £1m
by Ruth Gillespie for The Stage

Entertainment Rights, the company that owns Basil Brush, has insured the puppet's tail for £1 million against damage or theft during a UK-wide promotional roadshow.

The company will pay annual premiums of £1,000 for the policy, which was drawn up by Stoke-on-Trent based firm, Stoke Insurance Brokers.

According to this article, Michael Flatley's legs were insured for $25 million (US)

So, would you cut off your legs for $1 million?

We would guess not. On the other hand, it probably never occurred to you to buy an insurance policy for them either.

Unless, of course, you're a celebrity.

"Unless, of course, you're a celebrity," or a celebrity cloth puppet.

I read somewhere that actress Angie Everhart's legs are insured for US$1 million, simply because she has beautiful legs. I wonder how much a ballerina's feet are worth.

I haven't come across Angie Everhart, Michael. Have you got a link to an image of her or more important to those "beautiful legs"?

Well, be careful in your search. I searched on her name plus "legs" and got a site in which I must have inadvertently clicked on a porn link, because one came up and would not go away! Nothing really wrong with this, except I was at work, and people at my firm have been fired for comparable offenses.

Angie Everhart is an American film actress. That's about all I know about her, and that her legs are insured for $1 million. I don't think she's worth losing your job over, though, so don't bother to search for photos whilst in the workplace.
