That really was one of the most interesting things said about the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in a while!

Speaking of fish and game, does any one remember the somewhat tongue in cheek "Swan Lake Minnesota" about the hunter in his red checked coat finding the enchanted swan and taking her home...? I loved it!
Basheva, do you have a tape of this one?

Here in the Uk it's still a treasonable offence to poach one of the Royal swans. So make sure you know where that swan has come from!

Maggie - I checked - I have 18 different Swan Lake tapes (some complete and some PDD), but no Minnesota - guess that Hunter didn't turn me on.....artistically speaking, of course.......
Stuart - you folks are still beheading people for swan poaching? (You need an awfully big pot to poach a swan)
And, Salzberg, with a swan you not only get more stuffing, you also get a tutu.......
oy vey

[This message has been edited by Basheva (edited December 20, 2000).]

Many a word....
Up until a year or so ago the death penalty was still available in the UK for treason in time of war (swan poaching or fricaseeing for that matter) and sabotage in a naval dockyard at any time (don't ask!).
However, I'm delighted to say that last year the death penalty was abolished for all crimes in the UK, a step already taken in the rest of the European Community countries.
But I think we'd better return to the central themes of this topic namely, carols and the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game.

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited December 20, 2000).]

Basheva, I'm disappointed! I thought you had EVERYTHING on tape. You would like this. It's a bit of a spoof, and done on location outside and in some kind of local bar and at the "hunter's" home. I suppose the Minnesota Ballet(?) performed this.
