I've been teaching myself to speak in Russian for years, so if I were to meet her we could converse in her native tongue. But even better than that would be to dance with Makarova.
She can choose the ballet.
[This message has been edited by Glebb (edited November 13, 2001).]

bebounce, why do you want to dance with Dick Van Dyke? Not asking because I think he's a bad choice, on the contrary. I was just curious what you liked about the idea of dancing with him.

Ever since I was a kid (like I am so grown now!), I've just loved dick van dyke. He's like gene kelly and fred astaire's dance, mixed with lucille ball's slapstick comedy (and, of course, wit). I love the way he moves, I can just imaging one of those duets were Mary Tyler Moore was in her capri pants, that was like spunky partnering. I know, I'm weird! Image

Dick was/is a great dancer --loved the roof top number in Mary Poppins!I forgot Mary Tyler Moore was a dancer too.

A couple of the other threads (watching dance etc.) reminded me of this one.

I'd like to dance with Fred Astaire, and ice dance with Christopher Dean.
