Down in Moderator's Messages we had been sorting out who was doing what newspaper links. However, as you will see in this edited version, we got distracted from time to time!
By all means feel free to add your own comments.

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited January 02, 2001).]

There's this incredible, post-rain sunlight making for clean, golden-green leaves doing shiny, damp jigs against a dark sky. As the clouds break up, so does my focus out the window.
I'll sort through my must-reads and see how it figures out. Will let you know my list and we can go from there.

This came in the fortune cookie with my soup at lunch:
"Discontent is the first step in the progress of a man or a nation."
I was so affected by its profundity that I couldn't focus on my newspaper search. Boy, how far I've fallen by quoting a fortune cookie...
No need to ask Azlan, i think. He'll be delighted that you are covering those newspapers.
I'll adjust the Master List forthwith, if not fifthwith.
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited December 29, 2000).]

I prefer "sixwith" or even "sexwith" - sorry couldn't resist.
------------------
Approach life as a dancer approaches the barre, with grace and purpose.
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited December 29, 2000).]

Thanks again Francis. I'll wait to hear from trina.
------------------
Approach life as a dance fan approaches the bar, with unseemly haste and sharp elbows. (With apologies to Basheva)
My apologies to everyone for being very absent on my newspaper postings the last few days. Work has kept my extremely busy.
By Saturday night, late I did as Stuart suggests above. Approach the bar with unseemly haste with some Peruvian people I was working with. I enjoyed the national drink of Peru, called Pisco, and was very happy to look forward to a day of (semi) rest on Sunday, when I only have to teach 2 classes. I hope this next week lightens up somewhat.

Maggie, I think Stuart meant a different kind of bar.
[This message has been edited by Azlan (edited December 03, 2000).]

Yes, I know, Azlan. A bar with drinks! And that pisco is some drink.

I hope my epitaph doesn't read:
A moderately good, but often immoderate Moderator.
