I loved that episode, I really enjoyed it. If anyone hasn't seen it, it should be on MTV today at 2:00.

I loved this too. This young man may have a future if he keeps at it. My husband said that he wished that he had seen something like this when he was a younger guy. A friend called me and remarked that if our first teacher had seen this kid he would have a scholarship and a Nutcracker contract. I thought he was great, and nice to see Chris Flemming doing well too.

I saw this last night, and I thought it's a really nice introduction to ballet for those who haven't had any exposure to it. I was cringing throughout the summary on MTV's website when they kept misusing the term "ballerina", but the episode immediately corrects that in the beginning.

Christopher Flemming is also a great representative for the dance world, and was hilarious. His gruff, to-the-point attitude dispels many popular and inaccurate misconceptions about men in ballet, and I think is fairly representative of how things really are. I think one of my favorite moments was when Mack was nervously trying to tell Christopher that he'd like to ask Sofia out (who is an absolute good sport about working with Mack), and Christopher matter-of-factly calls her over and walks off. Nothing like being thrown into the deep end of the pool headfirst! ROTFL!

It was also pretty impressive how determined Mack was despite all the apparent setbacks.
