She’s no longer with us, yet this angel can be found on Celebrity Match! Yet, another enduring testimony to the mark she left on this blue sphere we call earth! I have it on good authority, the instant this former ballerina/actress/singer/dancer said good-bye, her wings were custom-made. No off-the-rack for this angel! What am I writing? She probably had them on all along. We being but mere humans couldn’t see them. Audrey Hepburn was and is an angel.
By the way, I don’t care if Audrey couldn’t hit the high notes. Her heart could overcome anything. It’s a shame they only used 10% of her singing in My Fair Lady. According to the Barry Paris biography of Audrey, “I Could Have Danced All Night” was 100% Marni Nixon. If you could pick one song to squeeze in the entire life of Audrey Hepburn it was that song.
The day Audrey left (January 20, 1993) is the day good taste on this earth came to an end. The day Audrey left was inauguration day for President Bill Clinton. The day Audrey left, Jerry Springer and Pamela Anderson were boob-tubing their way to celebrity. Somehow I can’t envision Audrey Hepburn living in a world gone mad for silicone gel bosoms, Howard Stern, and the Spice Girls. It would be just too much for her. The only thing preventing this blue sphere from imploding from poor taste is CriticalDance!
Late in the evening I tend to become a tad adventurous, so I decided to input my birth date as an afterlife match for Audrey Hepburn (July 15th, 1962) and the computer crunched a very interesting number: 69!

MMMMmmmmmmmm! Audrey and I match up 99% emotionally, 85% physically, and only 23% intellectually. Oh well, so we won’t be talking much in …. I have to be careful; I have a feeling Audrey will be very high up in the National Ballet of Heaven! Click below for proof the heavens mix forever more for Audrey and me:

* Of course, Audrey could never make it in today’s world of celebrity: No breast implants, no nipple rings, no drug rehab, no court dates, no…well I think you get the idea.
