So there I was the other day, talking to a friend, when another friend walked up and said, "That was a nice writeup in the paper."
Ever the articulate one, I replied, "Huh?"
He said, "The piece about you in Marjorie North's column (North writes an arts/society column in the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Until yesterday, I'd never read it. I've never met the woman).
Me: "What are you talking about?"
So I went out and bought a SHT and read this:
Image
It turns out that a friend, deciding to act as my press agent, had emailed her about my summer plans.
Sarasota really is a small town.
------------------
Jeffrey E. Salzberg, Lighting Designer
"Shang-a-lang, feel the sturm und drang in the air!"
Online portfolio: http://www.suncoast.quik.com/salzberg

[This message has been edited by salzberg (edited April 19, 2001).]

. . .and Meredith must be my friend, 'cause if anyone other than a friend had gotten me into the situation she got me into, I'd bop 'em in the head.
