It's that time of year when we can become anything we want to - dreamy things and nightmare things.....
There are lots of characters in dance who are treats and lots who are tricks. If I were going as a treat I think I would get costumed as "Cinderella" in her ball gown.
But, if I went as a trick, I would go as "Madge" in La Sylphide. It would be fun to try on that green makeup. And stir up lime jello in that stewpot of hers.

Can we get back to what we can go as on Halloween as dancers?
I could go as the Lake in Swan Lake - it would be really 'cool.'

It might be fun to go as Mother Ginger--I'm sure it would freak people out if a nine foot-tall hoopskirted woman knocked on their door...and then you could send all the polichinelles out to collect extra candy for you!

I think for a treat I would be an Emerald from Jewels. For a trick perhaps I would be Carabosse - she always seemed a particularly nasty one to me.
OKAY-my trick would be Barbie as the Sugar Plume Fairy--dancing ever so gracefully ,w/ my 12 inch waist and my 40 inch breast......

Check this out, Angela. Barbie will be appearing in a Nutcracker video choreographed by Peter Martins.
Image
MORE...

Yes, checkout the way she ties her ribbons. And her turnout is nothing to write home about either.
I think she shoudl go as Barbie for Halloween.
