He's still a bit turned out, too. But that arm position in en haut needs some work.

Great piccies Maggie. Perhaps some of the throws should become a standard feature of class - ever so useful for dealing with difficult Artistic Directors.

This really takes me back, I remember Ricki Starr from long, long ago. He used to feature regularly on Saturday afternoon wrestling with people like Mick McManus and Jackie Pallo. I always remember him winning everything too.
What with fave Beach Boy hits an another thread, I'm coming over all nostalgic this morning. My favourite by the way, was Sloop John B.

Stuart, the throws have already been incorporated. It's called pas de deux.
Cassandra, did he do "ballet stuff" in the ring?

Yes he did, rather a lot too, it used to totally confuse his opponents. He also looked much fitter than any of his opponents.

I think I would have enjoyed watching that! It must have been pretty amusing!

Ahhh. The good ol' pre-steroid days, when wrestlers actually looked like human beings.
(Almost) And had normal names (like Gorgeous George and Haystack Calhoun).
Anyone ever had the wondrous opportunity to watch Mexican wrestling (where they all wear masks)?

Now that I am thinking of it, one of the very talented dancers that worked with me at an unnamed Southern ballet company went on to a dancing career in Las Vegas.
Which included a stint as one of the GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) ladies. Until one of the other wrestlers broke her arm during a match, at which point she became one of the ringside announcer/personalities.
So you see, ballet really DOES help with future career moves.
